CyberHedz’s Uber PC Build

As I mentioned in my return from Tokyo video, I wanted to make a post about my new PC build. This thing is going to be such a beast, I had to break it into 3 stages to responsibly pay for it all. I had purchased an Alienware X51 a few years back and it was becoming outdated and the video card just can’t keep up with modern games. While I could upgrade it, it’s a slim profile, and its made by dell, enough said. I was ready to get another PC, and for some reason, I bought an iMac last year… not sure why i thought that was wise. While it’s a great graphics station, and good for surfing, forget about playing games on it, even with its twin ATI 290’s. So, I decided it was time for a new PC, a real PC. Being a little OCD, I started doing homework on what i wanted, and even during purchasing, made several changes. Once I had my shopping list, I saw the price, and had a small heart attack. Trying to not get discouraged, I took a step back, ok, I can still do this, just a little at a time. I managed to break everything up so that I would have a working PC right out of the gate, but not finished until the end. Here’s what’s planned at each Stage:

Stage 2: Second GPU, double the RAM, and a 4K monitor
